Orlando Parks Playbook is written by an Orlando local for families visiting the theme parks. We're starting with Walt Disney World and plan to add Universal and SeaWorld later.

Our approach: plan less

You don't need a minute-by-minute spreadsheet. Pick a few must-dos, take the midday break, and let the rest be bonus. Our tools help with the handful of decisions that actually change your trip: where to stay, how to get there, whether to pay for skipping lines or prepaying meals, and how to pace a day with little kids.

How we source numbers

• Every default figure comes from an official page or a clearly labeled secondary source, shown next to the field with the date we last checked it.
• Anything that depends on your trip — hotel quotes, ticket prices, rideshare fares — is left blank for you to fill in. We never make up a default.
• All figures live on our sources page. If you spot something out of date, let us know.
